THIS PROPOSAL WAS AWARDED A MERIT AT THE HERAKLION CITY BRANDING COMPETITION THAT WAS LAUNCHED BY THE DIAZOMA ASSOCIATION AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF HERAKLION CITY, CRETE ISLAND. JAN. 2018     H FOR HERAKLION LETTER H WAS CHOSEN AS THE MOST RECOGNISABLE SYMBOL OF THE LOGOTYPE AS IT IS THE SAME INITIAL LETTER FOR THE THE WORD HERAKLION, BOTH IN THE GREEK AND ENGLISH ALPHABET. THE MAIN FRAME OF THE COMPETITION BRIEF, WAS TO CREATE AN ATRACTIVE BRAND IDENTITY OF THE CITY OF HERAKLION AS A TOURISTIC DESTINATION.
